I have come to realize that Luceti has many strong fighters. My question is: where did you get your fighting experience from? Have you all trained by your own choice, or is it a part of your background?

Another young warrior. Were you trained in anything else but martial arts?

I'm thirty six. Pretty sure that's not 'young' by most standards here, judging from what I've seen of the populace.

Various weaponry. Some traditional--swords, staves, bows. Some modern, at least from my point of view: various types of guns, explosives, that sort of thing. Other hand to hand techniques besides the martial arts, a lot of which deals with using whatever tools are at hand. Other things that aren't necessarily related to fighting, but part of the taught skill sets.

That's quite a complete set of weaponry. Just how skilled are you with the sword? Perhaps we could duel sometime.

My apologies. Been a weird month for me here.

Since I was about fifteen. It was part of my martial arts training, but I had to qualify for it first. Took me about five years. Two years before that on the staff. One year before that with just kata and hand to hand.

We could, but my training's gotten pretty specialized in that for a certain type of target. We'd have to go slow at first.
