[When Zelgius lands, he lands in a most ungainly fashion right on top of his journal, triggering a video feed. He is dressed in the standard New Feather attire of white cotton pants, exposing his back to the camera. For a moment before he moves away, a a strange marking is partially visible on his back, under one dark blue Lucetian wing. It takes him a moment to fully come to, but when he does, he immediately scrambles for the shirt by his side and pulls it on. He had no idea if he was still in Tellius after what had happened (he had just lost consciousness after a duel to the death, after all), but if he was, he wasn't going to risk letting anyone see his brand (never mind that observant viewers might have already seen it, unbeknownst to him).

His red and gold armor is beside him, which is a bit strange considering that he was in a completely different suit of armor when he blacked out, but it's reassuring to him nonetheless. He can put it on in a moment (he had quite a good amount of experience with putting it on by himself); right now he needs to check his surroundings. He turns around, and his gaze finally lands on the journal.]

What is this? A book...?

[He stares at it (and the camera) for a moment, sets it down, then gets to work on putting his armor on. Care to talk to the New Feather and get him to pay attention to the journal?]

A... different world? I had no idea that the Goddess had the power to send us to other worlds. A guide, you say? I will look through it later. Where do people live here? I mean in terms of location and in terms of housing.

I'm not sure it's your Goddess who did so, but maybe.

The village has several apartment buildings with a lot of rooms open. The houses are generally saved for people here with whole families from their world.

Everything's free in terms of clothing, food, items, and all that.

Understood. I will look into finding a room here. Everything is free? That comes as a surprise... does that mean I can just claim a room as my own?

Aye. So long as it's open. You can find a list over at the Welcome Center. And there's a signature book there for people looking for friends from home.

Where is this Welcome Center? It seems like a place I should make my first destination from here.

There's a bunch of shops and things around the village center where the fountain is. Follow the path back towards the river and it'll be on your left coming from the fountain.

Understood. First, I need to get to the fountain... it seems that I've been dropped on the outskirts of this place. I see buildings, but they're a fair distance away.

You can follow along the river then and ask directions in town, people are pretty used to New Feathers needing directions, eh.

Along the river... I understand. Are you anywhere in town? Perhaps we could meet.

If you'd like, I can come looking for you, eh? I'm not up to much right now.

That would help. Could you show me around a bit, perhaps?

What kind of landmarks do you see around you now? I'll head over there.

I see a large, dome-shaped building to my left and another large building to my right. Where does that put me relative to you?

Battledome and near my apartment building. Either head north or east towards the sound of the river until you reach a road. Then go north or east along it and I'll be coming down the road, eh?

[And true enough Marco ambles over the bridge and down the road towards Zelgius, woot woot.]

[Zelgius follows the instructions and goes towards the river, spotting Marco once he gets close enough.]

You there! Are you the one I spoke to through the journal?

Right. I'm Marco, eh.

Nice to meet you. [Offers a handshake.]

[After a momentary pause, he returns the handshake.]

Pleased to meet you as well. Where shall we go from here?

[Gestures.] Up the street and then over another bridge to the city square. All the main shops and the school are centered around the fountain.

As is the Welcome Center.

Very well. Lead the way. [He said "lead the way," but he's already moving...]
